3 T Whole Wheat Flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoons cinnamon

Pour mixture into a 9 inch pie dish lined with unbaked pie crust
Dot with butter
Top with the remaining pie crust
Bake at 375* for 35 minutes.
Raise oven tempature to 400* and bake for 10 more minutes.

Great. I have got to try this recipe. Looks yummy. Now I have read about Xylitol and when I went to Whole Foods looking for that or Stevia, I couldn't find Xylitol. I figured if any place would have it, Whole Foods would. Alas nope. Cheers!!
Does it taste good - really? That sure would be better for me. sandie
Sounds like a healthy apple pie
Yah looks healthy to me. ^_^
You are so creative. I love how you turn something so unhealthy into something that can meet your needs!
Mmm, I should make this for Little Bug. He is limited to the sweets he can eat.
sounds good to me! I love Apple Pie!
Oh yum!!!! Everyone is posting all the delicious things they made this weekend! Totally craving apple pie now!
This looks/sounds so good. I'm ready for something apple. I had to juice apples with carrot while on Gerson and I was a little tired of them but now they look good again. I'll try it.
STOP ... I'm salivating!! Who knew healthy could look so good??!! Have a great weekend!

Hi, thanks for the follow on Blogfrog! Great blog, I am your latest follower. Please feel free to follow me back if you feel like it.
Take care.
Colin.
Oh my goodness, this looks absolutely delicious. I'm going to have to try your recipe. I made an apple pie last week and it was gone before I had a chance to grab a slice.
Sounds tasty. I wounder if you could replace the wheat flour with coconut flour? It's more dense. That's the problem I have with it. If you can't have wheat flour coming up, you may be able to have coconut flour.
This looks delicious. Good luck next week.
I don't think you would be able to tell the difference between sugar and xylitol. You may not like the whole wheat pie crust though.
Michelle,
I have seen xylitol at our whole foods, but we buy this over the internet and get it at a much better price.
It is much healthier than if I use sugar. I don't think any pie crust is healthy though.
Thank you Anthony. I already eat fairly alkaline, but this is going to be a challenge for me.
alissa,
I think I could replace the wheat flour with coconut four, it might even taste better. This tasted so good though that It would be hard to make it better.
If your recipe went that fast Terri, I would not try another one. Stick with what you know.
Hi Red,
I stopped over to your blog.... Great pictures as always.
Ha ha, I am juicing starting Monday. Only for 3 days though. Then I will just eat alkaline.
It was very good too.. Love your snow pictures Ashley
I really like apple pie, but Hubs likes apple crisp better so next time I will make that instead.
Have you tried the xylitol on Little Bug? it tastes just like sugar.
Not so creative as hungry. LOL.... having health problems and having to eat different makes me really hungry
Thanks so much for stopping by, I am headed your way
I love your recipes you post. I love apple pie.
