When I came across this recipe for Overnight Oats In A Jar, on the blog Fitness Food And Faith, I knew I had to try it.
Overnight Oats in a Jar
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup milk
1 jar almond butter (or other) almost 100% empty
dash of cinnamon
Stevia Equal to 2 teaspoons
Combine oats, milk and cinnamon in the jar and stir. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Stir well, and enjoy cold or heat up in the microwave. I no longer use the microwave so I will eat mine cold
This will be great when we are traveling. I have a really hard time when we go to motels because I really don't like eating out.

Do you follow Kath Eats? She does overnight oats a lot (and has tons of fun recipes for oatmeal).

I eat oatmeal every day - but have not tried this to be honest. sandie
I love oats in so many forms. I haven't fallen in love with the overnight version yet, but I'll probably try it again soon. Thanks for the reminder.
Oh Great. Cody and I love oats. I can see this would be grand for hotel living. My husband was the traveler too and I would bring bags of food, not clothes. :)
Yep. Another must try. Thanx. Cheers!!
What a great idea!

I am not an oat fan, but my husband is. I'll have to try it just to see it.
That does sound tasty. We have oatmeal and Greek yogurt a lot.
This would be a great way to save a ton of money on breakfast while on vacation! Kewl :D
Sounds interesting. I will have to make this for the kids.
I have a hard time eating out also! This sounds like something good! Not too sure about it being cold though! Enjoy!

Sounds like a great idea! My kids looooove oatmeal.
Nice way to keep them but I would have a hard time eating them cold...like you do, but good for you!
I've got a son that decreed that when he grew-up he was going to open an Oatmeal Cafe! I'll have to email him this recipe!!!
