Whey Fry Bread

Whey Fry Bread

3 cups unbleached flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups Whey

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Oil or shortening, for deep frying

In high altitudes use 3 teaspoons baking powder.
.Combine all ingredients except oil
. Knead until smooth.
. Rub oil  over dough.
. Cover and let sit for about 30 minutes.

Directions
Pull enough dough out to roll a small ball in the palm of your hand.  Flatten dough... I use a rolling pin, adding extra flour if needed.
Deep fry in hot oil

You can use these for taco shells or make a sandwich.

Makes 10 to 12 Fry Breads,  I made mine small so this really depends on the size you make them.

These were a little oily so the next time, I am just going to do them on a pan or a griddle.
