Enough is Enough!! Reoccuring Kidney Stones And What We Are Doing To Prevent Them

I know this might not have anything to do with candida, but in a way it does. Lots of you with candida, also have kidney stones.   Thank goodness,  that is one thing I don't suffer with.. ""knock on wood""

I will be doing posts about every two weeks on what we are doing to heal my Husbands Kidney Stones

My Husband just found out this morning that he might have to get another lithrotripsy to blow up his kidney stones. AGAIN!!! This is getting to be a bit ridiculous!!  Every 6 months to a year he is having problems with kidney stones.    I have decided to step in and take matters into my own hands since Hubs  ( Nor His Doctor ) is not doing anything about it.  THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!! Enough is Enough!!

I have suggested to him that he try to give up all sugar.   I think sugar is the root of all evil.  I told him, he should be eating more like I do.  More vegetables and less sugar and fat.

Next, I am starting him on a  natural day body cleanse from Canfo called Flush Me.   Here is what the company says about Flush Me
Canfo's FlushMe® is a proprietary blend of herbal extracts formulated to support the healthy cleansing and filtering functions of the liver, kidneys, colon, pancreas, spleen, and skin. The key to FlushMe®'s effective formula lies in its ability to cleanse the blood. By improving the blood quality, FlushMe®, in turn, cleanses the organs circulated by the bloodit is similar to simply purifying a car's engine oil without the hassle of draining it out then replacing it with new oil. Thus, FlushMe® is a faster, more efficient and superior cleanse.

After we finish the Flush Me,  we will be using another Canfo product called NoStone

Below is an explanation of NoStone taken from the Canfo Site
The kidney works hard to eliminate waste and toxic substances from the body. At times, the kidney can become overworked. NoStone™ works to support the kidneys to facilitate its function. By focusing on the urinary tract's fluid elimination, NoStone™ serves to act as a natural cleanse and ensures a smooth passage of urinary waste through the urinary tract—providing a natural release for mineral buildup.
I am hoping this works.   I am getting tired of Hubs having kidney stones and not only that... every time he has a lithrotripsy, it costs us over $2,000.   Yes, we do have insurance but we have to pay the first large amount before they start paying.   Then.... they don't pay all of it.    Do you know what I could do with $2,000?

So, how many of you have or know someone that has reoccuring kidney stones?   Does your Doctor offer any suggestions on how to prevent them?     My Hubs Doctor says you can't break them up once you have them, you can pass them.

*Disclaimer The products were provided free of charge, for review purposes. In no way did this alter my opinion of their products. All of my opinions are one hundred percent honest and true. Because, I like their products, I am continuing to use them.

Oh your poor hubby. Ouch. I've always heard drinking lots of lemon water helps?

My boss should take these things! He ends up in the hospital like once a year. The dork still drinks Mountain Dew. YUCK and GEE WIZZ your body is trying to tell you something! Some people do just get them naturally with age.

Kidney and Gallbladder Stones run in my family. My mom, brother , sister and all of my aunt and uncles have had them. My mom got them sugically removed, they didnt find them all and she ended up develping Gang Green. Those Pills sound like they would be worth taking!

Oh yuck. I am so sorry. This sounds miserable for your poor husband. No advice here though. :(

Even though I'm in my early 50s (NOT the mid-50s...yet), I didn't even know what "lithotripsy" even was until Mrs. Penwasser got a job at a lithotripsy center.
I hope never to need it.

I have heard that too much milk can cause stones because of the calcium build up but I don't know how true it is. Good luck.

Oh, and they are so painful! And that price is painful as well. I hope a change in diet can help as well.

Poor hubby! Boooo for kidney stones!!!! I've never had kidney stones...hope I don't ever! They sound terribly painful. :(

My Aunt gets these and they are horrible. She says that passing them is the worst pain she has ever encountered. Her Dr. told her to give up soda and tea. Not sure if your DH drinks either of those but if he does that would be something easy he could do to help. Good luck!

Your poor hubs! He is so lucky to have you to help him. :) I am sure that your alternative approach is going to help him. Good luck and I will send him prayers!

I've known people with kidney stones, and aside from "don't have too much caffeine or dairy" nope, no advice. I don't even know if that advice was useful, but doctors don't really advise much anymore, just diagnose. They rush a lot.

Thanks girls... and Chellie, I have done the quick liver flush before. I know my Hubs will not do it. He can be such a pain sometimes. Me, I would do anything I could to prevent them.

Chellie,
Just wanted to let you know, I did stop by your blog... very nice. I tried to leave a comment but I think you must have the comments disabled.

My urologist told me not to drink anything like Pepsi or Coca Cola, as they tend to make kidney stones...
