To Keep Your Back In Shape ~ You Need To Strengthen Your Stomach Muscles

We all know, To keep our back in shape, We must keep our stomach muscles in shape
Here are the two things that really help keep my stomach muscles in shape.
I got both of these machines for practically nothing... 

The one on the left, I paid $3 for at a yard sale
The one on the right, my daughter gave me becase it hurt her stomach to use..... Poor baby,  I'll take it.    Not only that, she didn't like storing it and knows where it is if she ever wants it back.

You almost have a full service gym. Ken told me that a exercise bike would be beneficial to my knee. I've given 3 away in my lifetime. I buy them and eventually use them as a clothes rack and toss them to the thrift store. I don't really want another one as they take up a lot of room.
I just got an athletic hula hoop from online. It's the weighted big one. This is a hoot. It comes in sections and I couldn't get the last piece together so I took it to my son's for him to do. His friend was there and they both tried it and couldn't do it. I had never tried it but could do it first time. They felt pretty silly.

Hi Manzanita,
I thought about getting an exercise bike, but I too have had them before and end up getting rid of them. In my basement, I have a ski like machine that I have been using. Not sure if I like it or not.

I bet your son and his friend did feel silly to have you show them up. I bet you had a good laugh.

This looks like a great way to exercise your back and abs. I have an eliptical machine. I like it and use it about 3-4 times a week. In the past, I had an exercise bike and used it every night for 30 min. I was in the best shape ever while I had it. We sold it because we were moving and couldn't fit it in our new condo. I've missed it ever since. :( As much as I love the eliptical, it's just not the same as the bike.
