Last year, I had such a small little organic garden that I could only plant a few things. This year, it is quite a lot larger. Not as large as many of you have but for me.... this is big...
LOL.... how do you like my tomato stakes? My tomatoes needed staked up and all Hubs could find is some broom handles and arrows. I wonder who was riding all the brooms? Don't look at me!!! I'm not a witch.
This is the spot I put most of my squash and Hubs pepper plants.
I spent all day yesterday weeding. We were in Atlantic City for a week, and boy, did the weeds grow..
When we went shopping for plants, my Hubs went wild on the pepper plants and got to many for the space I had..... so I just stuck them anywhere I could find.
Look at the baby pepper!! So cute!
To keep my garden organic, I don't use any bug spray on my plants. What I use is cayenne pepper powder or chili powder
Here is a post I did on how I was composting the garden last year. When we tilled this year, we had a whole lot of earth worms. My composting must of worked well.

Awesome! I hope mine grows this well!!!
Wonderful! I think everyone should have a garden.
Wow! Your garden looks amazing!! I love the little pepper! Don't feel bad about using what you have laying around the house to stake up your plants. I have PVC pipe right now for my tomatoes, last year we used an old pair of crutches that were laying around. :) Whatever works!
I missed this post. I've been so busy working in my back yard that I was too tired to go on the computer. Your garden looked great. The plants look so dark green and healthy. I have a path that was dirt (but it'd good rich black dirt) and I was going to plant some veggies but it's getting so late in the season. Both Ken and Neil, the accupuncturist tell me to eat lots of cilantro so I may put some of that in yet. It grows fast.
I started basil in the house and have to set that out.
How wonderful!! I hope to do this someday when we have a backyard. Living in the city, this is easier said than done! :)
Wow, you've been busy! You can never have too many pepper plants? ;-)
Thanks for linking up with Rural Thursday!
I appreciate your dedication to raising organic produce!
Thank you for sharing at Rural Thursday!
the cayenne and chill powder did not work for me at al last year unless i reapplied it everyday!! and it just stained my plants red. maybe we have worse bugs and critters in Pa.
have fun!!
