I can remember before I knew I had candida, having terrible Night Sweats. I mean they were so bad that I would wake up and the bed would be soaked, and then that would make me shiver because I got cold.
I thought the sweats were menopause related....then I discovered I had candida. I went on the Anti Candida Diet and also took a lot of antifungals.
Between the diet and the antifungals, I no longer have night sweats..... That makes me very happy because I had a heck of a time sleeping. It seems I would just start falling asleep only to be snapped out of it by a hot flash coming on. Very irritating to say the least.
Candida caused a lot of things to go wrong in my body. I will be posting them all.
It seems my bad eating habits have come back to haunt me and I will be dealing with the effects for a very long time.
So ladies, give your night sweats a closer look, they may be caused from what you are eating and drinking and not menopause.

I am so glad that is not one of the things I have had to deal with with my Candida. I think I am on the opposite end, I do not easily sweat. I was always grateful for that but now I am told I should sweat all I can because it helps cleanse the body of candida toxins.
I am your newest follower from Thirsty Thursday. Come on over and follow me at kittycrochettwo.blogspot.com.
Have a great weekend!
Hi Terry,
Interesting blog you have here. I really believe candida causes a lot of symptoms that we think are due to other conditions. My psoriasis cleared up quickly once I eliminated sugar and white flour from my diet.
All the best,
Marnie xx

I just have to be honest and say I had to google candida - never heard of it and had no clue. I have those lovely night sweats but I take Femara and previously took Tamoxifen so they are medically induced - still wouldn't hurt to elimimate a few (or lots) of things from my diet. Good information.
So interesting...I have not heard of Candida so am going to educate myself right here on your blog. Thanks for the follow today, I am now following you back. Have a great weekend!
Stopping back, and following. Thanks for dropping by my blog. I took a look around and I am glad I did, I will be back. I have researched candida about 15 years ago, I think it is time to do more current research. Have a great day!
Thank you for touching base on Middle Passages via Follow 40. I'm learning a lot here. I never new about Candida, but I'd love to get rid of my athlete's foot! I'm going to keep reading!
Following back from Over 40. Looking forward to learning from you. I do not have Candida but I am interested in healthy living for sure.

My ex husband suffered from Candida - he refused to "treat" or do anything about it and still suffers a lot of symptoms. Night sweats was one of the worst for us/him. I worry about him to this day not taking care of himself properly! Very neat to find a blog with someone who suffers too. Thanks for sharing your journey!
Thanks for the follow on my blog You Brew My Tea today - following back for sure!

Hi, Thanks for dropping by my blog last Friday and for the follow. I'm following you back now. I've heard of people struggling with candida and I'm so glad you are on the upswing! I'm sure it must have taken incredible discipline to work on that. I have psoriasis and I can go for months at a time being really careful about what I eat, and then totally blow it! It's not easy, is it. I read your last post about chewing and it made me chuckle because my mother was always on my case when I was growing up to chew, chew, chew!
Following from bloghop...would love to have you follow back!
